One of the things you’ll love at American Legion Memorial Park is the breathtaking panoramic views of Hat Island, also known as Gedney Island, from the bluff overlooking Port Gardner Bay.

After checking out the view, you can look at the public art installations at the arboretum.

You can also play ball at the baseball field, basketball court, pickleball court, softball field, and tennis court.

If you’re bringing your dog to the American Legion Memorial Park, make sure you bring plenty of poop bags and water.

Throw away used bags in designated waste bins and watch over your pet while he’s playing and socializing.

You’ll find on-site amenities that include a playground, picnic shelter, picnic tables, and several trails.
