Hillsboro’s local park authorities work very hard to maintain excellent nature parks like Orenco Woods Nature Park.
This 44-acre destination features beautiful rolling landscapes, forested areas, meadows, and oak savannah.
There are plenty of must-see trails that you can explore at Orenco Woods Nature Park.
You have to keep your dog on a leash if you visit the park.
Moreover, pets are prohibited in wetlands, ponds, and streams. You can only walk your dog along the paved trails.
Remember to bring poop bags so you can clean up after your fur baby. Bring a bottled water, too.
Other amenities available at the park include a barbecue grill, benches, paved paths, a picnic area, and a picnic shelter.
Restrooms and parking are also available on-site. Visit the park’s website to learn more about park rules and schedule changes.
