Justice Myron E. Leavitt & Jaycee Community Park was named after Justice Myron E. Leavitt, the founder of the Little League baseball in Las Vegas.
He dedicated his adult life to coaching the Little League, the American Legion baseball, Pop Warner football, and more.
In fact, most of his coaching sessions were held at this Nevada park.
When you come to visit, you’ll find playground areas with a water play feature, a turf soccer field, as well as bocce, horseshoe, and shuffleboard courts.
There is also fitness course equipment on-site. If you want to have snacks and drinks with your friends, you can reserve a picnic area or hang out at the shaded structures.
Check out the park’s website for more information about reserving amenities.
You can also visit Justice Myron E. Leavitt & Jaycee Community Park with your fur baby. There are dog runs on-site with plenty of space. You just need to make sure you clean up after your pet when you visit.
