You’ll love visiting O’Callaghan Park because it’s spacious, well-maintained, and dog-friendly.
This Henderson destination has two small off-leash dog parks with plenty of space and a few obstacle courses. Make sure you clean up after your pet when you visit. Always throw away used poop bags in designated waste bins.
You can explore the rest of O’Callaghan Park with your fur baby, but you have to keep him on a leash.
Some of the other things you can do at the park include playing at the ball field, basketball court, horseshoe pits, tennis courts, and volleyball courts.
There are also plenty of mature trees around the park, making the area an excellent place for long walks and barbecues with friends.
You can also hang out at the picnic shelters and open grass areas or let your kids play at the park’s playground. Visit the park’s website if you want to reserve a picnic table.
Restrooms are also available on-site. The park is open from 6 A.M. to 12 midnight.
