Oxford Road Park is relatively new. In fact, it’s one of the latest additions to the city’s park system.

When you get to the park, the first thing you’ll notice is the vast open space and well-manicured grass.

There’s a playground on-site where you can let your kids have fun.

You can bring your dog, but you have to keep him on a leash no longer than 8 feet.

It’s also your responsibility to look after your pet. So make sure you clean up after Fido as well. Bring poop bags and throw away used ones in the proper waste bins.

You can also rent a picnic shelter at Oxford Road Park, apart from walking your dog. Just visit the park website for more information.

Parking is also available on-site.

• Pick up after your dogs, repair holes, and control barking.
