The off-leash dog park at Purple Heart Park is called Ivan’s Spot.
It was named after a Tucson Police Department (TDP) dog lost in the line of duty.
There are plenty of activities you can do at this 1-acre dog park.
For one, you can walk your dog along the concrete inner walking path.
You can also let your dog run around the park and make new friends or let him climb the boulders on-site.
This dog park also features separate spaces for big and small dogs.
There are also dog-friendly drinking fountains at Purple Heart Park: Ivan’s Spot. Make sure you bring your dog’s bowl.
You’ll also find trees and benches where you can rest.
The dog park is open from 7 A.M. to 10 P.M.
Visit the park’s website for updates about local events and announcements about the park.
