The off-leash dog area at Toro Canyon Park is right by the entrance. It’s fenced-in, so you don’t have to worry about your dog’s safety.
It also has plenty of oak trees, which provide shade. Bring dog park essentials like poop bags, plenty of water, and your dog’s bowl.
There are waste bins around the park where you can dispose of used poop bags.
The rest of Toro Canyon Park has other amenities that will keep you, your family, and your friends busy.
There are benches and picnic tables on-site with barbecue grills. There are four areas that you can reserve in advance. Visit the park’s website for the rates and availability.
Apart from enjoying a picnic, you can also hike and bike on-site. The park also has equestrian trails.
Kids are also welcome on-site. They can spend time making new friends at the park’s playground.
You’ll find this Santa Barbara park in the foothills between Summerland and Carpinteria. You can access it from Foothill Road or Highway 101 through the Padaro Lane exit.
