Tanner Regional Park doesn’t have a designated off-leash area, but leashed dogs are still welcome.
It’s just a stone’s throw away from Parley’s Trail and Parley’s Historic Nature Park.
This 10-acre Salt Lake City park features amenities like a playground and tennis courts.
There are plenty of trails you can explore with your dog as well. Just make sure you help maintain the cleanliness of the park.
For example, pick up poop immediately and make sure you throw away used poop bags in the designated waste bins.
Bring a bottle of water and your dog’s bowl as well, so you can make sure he stays well-hydrated while at the park.
After exploring Tanner Regional Park, you can rest your feet at the pavilion on-site. Visit the park’s website to learn more about reserving the pavilion.
There’s also an amphitheater on-site and clean restrooms are also available.
