Locals love bringing their dogs to Stransky Dog Run at Peterson Park because of its wide open space and excellent amenities.
It has a 2.5-acre space for big dogs and another 1-acre area for small dogs. A water fountain is also available on-site. However, it’s closed during winter, so be sure to bring your own supply and your dog’s bowl.
Stransky Dog Run at Peterson Park also has walking trails where you can take your dog for a relaxing stroll. It has been recently renovated, so you’re sure you’ll have a pleasant time.
Don’t forget to clean up after your pet while at the park. Bring poop bags and dispose of used bags in the waste bins on-site. Don’t take this for granted, so you can help make sure this off-leash dog park in Lincoln stays in tip-top shape.
ADA-accessible parking and clean restrooms are also available on-site.
You’ll find the dog park along Southwood Drive. Visit the park’s website for important announcements and more information about local events.
