Spring Lake Park, commonly known as the Spring Lake Regional Park, is an excellent destination for boating, camping, walking, and swimming.
This park in California is considered one of Sonoma County’s most popular parks.
There are two entrances: the south entrance along Newanga Avenue, which will lead you to the campground and boat launch, and the north entrance along Violetti Road, which will take you to the swimming lagoon, boat rentals, and the Environmental Discovery Center.
You can bring your dog to Spring Lake Park, but you have to clean up after him. Bring poop bags and dispose of used ones in trash cans around the park.
Your dogs can also join the Water Bark dog swim, a multi-weekend off-leash dog party where canines can play in the lagoon.
Visit the park’s website for updates about the Water Bark schedule.
Apart from playing with your dog, you can also stop by the picnic area on-site. You’ll also find barbecue facilities at the park.
You can also go fishing or spend some time at the Environmental Discovery Center, a natural history center with hands-on displays and exhibits.
The entire park also has accessible trails, picnic areas, and campsites.
