Like many St. Louis dog parks, Southwest City Dog Park at Willmore Park requires membership.
It’s one of the largest dog parks in the city and is maintained by member volunteers.
There’s plenty of space for your dog to play and make new canine friends off-leash.
It’s divided into two play areas. The main area is excellent for playing frisbee, ball, or just plain running.
Meanwhile, the smaller area has a concrete patio and a water bowl. It’s the best place to bring your shy or old dog.
If no small dogs use this area, it can also function as a “time out” space.
Doggie pools are available between June and October, and a staw climbing maze and winter shelter are available between November and March.
Southwest City Dog Park at Willmore Park also has a dog wash. It’s one of the best amenities at the park as it allows you to clean your dog’s paws before you head home.
You can also bring your own supply of poop bags and water in case the park runs out.
Visit the park’s website for important announcements and more information about membership fees.
