Those who have been to Santa Barbara Shores Park say it’s one of the best places in Goleta to bring your dogs.

However, dogs need to be on a leash while at the park. There are plenty of beautiful trails you can explore, but you have to keep a close watch on your dog.

You’ll find Santa Barbara Shores Park along Santa Barbara Shores Drive. The park’s picnic tables are at the top of the hill, allowing you to enjoy scenic views.

There’s also an open field and a well-appointed playground.

You can help keep the park in tip-top shape by cleaning up after yourself and your dog. Bring garbage bags and poop bags, and dispose of trash in the bins around the park.

Pack your dog’s bowl and plenty of water as well to prevent dog dehydration.
