Locals fondly call Salvador Perez Park ‘The Train Park’ because the Santa Fe Railroad locomotive is on permanent display at the park.
Apart from checking out the vintage train on display, one of the best things to do in this 16.22-acre park is to play soccer, football, sand volleyball, and baseball.
There are also multi-purpose fields, picnic tables, and park benches.
You can also bring your dog to Salvador Perez Park. Make sure you clean up after your fur baby. Bring poop bags, plenty of water, and your dog’s bowl.
Dispose of used poop bags in designated waste bins around the park.
Check out the park’s website for important announcements and more information about local events.
