You’ll find Riverside Dog Park near the Cape Fear Botanical Gardens, right along Eastern Boulevard.

It has a separate enclosure for small dogs and another one for bigger dogs. However, you need to make sure your pet is legally licensed and has been vaccinated before he can visit the park. Tags indicating licenses and vaccination should be attached to your dog’s collar.

You can pack your own supply of poop bags in case the park runs out. Don’t forget to bring your dog’s bowl and plenty of water as well.
