Riverfront City Park is a 26-acre urban event park home to a few of Salem’s annual events like The World Beat Festival and the 4th of July Celebration.
You’ll find the park along the Willamette River surrounded by a lot of local businesses and restaurants.
Fur parents love visiting this Salem park because of the beautiful trails and breathtaking views of the river.
There are lush grassy areas where you can walk your dog while on a leash.
Other amenities at the park include an amphitheater, play equipment, a splash pad, and a rotary pavilion.
You’ll also find a winter ice rink and a dock where you can access the Willamette River and the Willamette Queen Sternwheeler.
Remember to clean up after your pet while you’re at the park. For example, throw away any used poop bags in the waste bins around the area.
You can learn more about the park’s rental fees through the Riverfront City Park website.
