Rickman’s Run, also known as Holmes Lake Dog Park, is an off-leash dog park on the east side of 70th street, just between Pioneers Boulevard and Van Dorn Street in southeast Lincoln.
It offers 26 acres of fenced space where dogs are allowed to run free, exercise, and socialize. Meanwhile, two acres of space are dedicated to small dogs.
You’ll also find walking trails on-site where you can enjoy relaxing strolls with your dog. The park also has a good mix of flat and uneven areas, which is great if your dog loves running.
Rickman’s Run is also just a stone’s throw away from Antelope Creek and the wetlands area. It’s also surrounded by beautiful evergreen trees.
ADA-accessible parking and clean restrooms are also available on-site. Visit the park’s website for more information about local events.
