You’ll find it challenging to make your dog come home with you once you bring him to Remy’s Dog Park.
It’s a 6-acre off-leash dog park with excellent amenities. Southern Living Magazine recognized this Birmingham, Alabama dog park as one of the “10 Great Southern Dog Parks” in 2016.
There are separate spaces for big and small dogs. The large dog area is about 1.7 acres, while the small dog area is about .7 acres.
You’ll also find a special needs dog area, which is great if you have a physically challenged, injured, shy, or elderly dog.
It doesn’t stop there—poop bags and drinking water are also available. There are also pet waste stations where you can throw away used poop bags.
You’ll find Remy’s Dog Park about .11 miles from the entrance of Red Mountain Park.
Visit the park’s website for important announcements.
