Prince William County Dog Park, also known as the K-9 Gunner Memorial Dog Park, features 46,000 square feet of space with a mix of grass and dirt areas.
The dog park was named after Gunner, a beloved canine member of the PWC Police Department. He was also recognized as the best overall dog of the year by the United States Police Canine Association.
You’ll find separate areas for big and small dogs on-site. The park runs fully on donations, so you need to do your part in keeping it in great shape. Bring poop bags, so you can clean up after your dog. There are already waste bins around the park where you can dispose of used bags.
Bench seating areas are also available inside and outside the fenced areas.
Prince William County Dog Park is open from sunrise to sunset. If you plan to stay a while, make sure you pack plenty of water and your dog’s bowl.
Parking is available on-site. Check the park’s website for important announcements and more information about the community events and activities you can join.
