Locals have come to love Patterson Open Space as one of the best destinations for dog lovers.
Canines are welcome to play off-leash at the park from Monday to Friday, from 8 A.M. to 10 A.M. You can also bring your fur baby to the park outside these hours, but they have to be on a leash.
The park is an unfenced horseshoe-shaped space along University Drive and Calle Arparejo. It has a beautiful grassy area where your canines can exercise, play, and make new friends.
Make sure you keep a close watch on your fur baby while at Patterson Open Space, as it’s not enclosed in fences. However, a hill and a creek on-site serve as a natural barrier.
Water and poop bags are also unavailable, so you must bring your own supply. Remember to dispose of used bags in waste bins around the park.
Visit the park’s website for important announcements and more information about local events.
You can also visit Tabano Hollow Open Space, which is just a block away if you’re looking for an off-leash dog park with water and tennis balls.
