Orchard Park in Hillsboro combines excellent recreation facilities and beautiful natural attractions.
The first thing that will catch your attention is the half-mile-long paved path that leads to boardwalks and bridges that go through wetlands and wooded natural areas.
Apart from exploring Orchard Park’s natural areas, you can also play disc golf at the nine-basket course on-site.
You’ll find several walking trails and paths at this 20-acre community park that you can check out, too.
You can also enjoy snacks at the picnic area or let your kids play at the park playground.
Dogs are welcome at the park, but they must be kept on a leash. You can only take their leash off at designated areas.
Bring poop bags and bottled water for your dog, and make sure you throw away used bags in designated waste bins.
Parking and restrooms are also available on-site.
You can visit the park’s website, so you’re updated about important announcements and local events.
