Frequent Mayberry Park visitors say the park is an excellent starting point for hikes and long walks. When you visit, you are treated to beautiful views of the Truckee River and access to great fishing spots.
The park is also home to various plant and animal species, making it an ideal location for birdwatching and photography.
This Reno river park also has several picnic areas with grilling facilities for individuals and small groups. There’s also a paved bike path and plenty of hiking trails. River tubing is also a very popular activity at Mayberry Park.
If you’re visiting the park with your fur baby, make sure you keep him on a leash. You need to make sure you clean up after your pet, too. Bring poop bags and throw away used ones in designated waste receptacles.
Visit the park’s website for information about reserving a picnic area.
