Off-leash dog parks usually offer only up to four acres of space, but at Martin Park, you and your dog get to explore up to 50 acres of wooded areas, open spaces, and nature trails. It’s enough for any dog to refuse to leave!
Not only will Fido be able to play and socialize, but he will also get to enjoy what it’s like to hike amidst trees and beautiful lush greens.
The park is only partially fenced, so you have to make sure you watch over your dog.
It’s best to bring your dog to the park only if he responds to voice commands, so he doesn’t get lost or wander off too far away from you.
You need to do your part in keeping Martin Park clean, so be sure to bring your own supply of poop bags and plenty of water.
Some are already available at the park, but if you find yourself too far from poop bag dispensers, bringing your own supply lets you clean up after your dog right away.
There are several waste bins around the park where you can dispose of used poop bags.
Bring plenty of water as well as a portable dog bowl, especially if you’re planning to do a lot of walking.
Dog dehydration can be a serious concern, so make sure you pack enough for the duration of your stay.
You’ll find open spaces with seating on-site where you can take breaks while exploring the park.
You can visit from dawn to dusk. Check out the park’s website for important announcements and updates about the trails.
