Lampkin Park is an 80-acre park with excellent amenities for sports buffs, nature lovers, and pet parents.
There are baseball fields, outdoor basketball courts, soccer fields, tennis courts, and volleyball courts.
You can walk your dog at this Bowling Green park as well, but you have to keep him on a leash.
It’s your responsibility to clean up after your pet, so you need to bring poop bags and pick up waste promptly.
Throw away used bags in the waste receptacles around the area.
If you’re planning to stay at the park for a while, you need to bring your dog’s bowl and plenty of water.
Having a picnic is also a great activity at Lampkin Park. There are picnic pavilions and picnic tables on-site.
Grilling facilities, electrical outlets, and water access are also available at the shelters.
Check out the park’s website to learn about reserving a picnic shelter.
There are also playgrounds for kids. Parking and clean restrooms are also available.
