There are several off-leash areas at Lake Padden Park.
There’s a fenced one near the ballfields in the southeastern part of the park.
Your dog can also explore the trails at the east end of the park, between the fenced off-leash area and the Galbraith entry on E. Samish.
You’ll also find a dog water exercise area near the ballfields. This is the only part of the park where dogs can access Lake Padden.
Make sure you clean up after your dog while at the park. Bring poop bags and throw away used ones in designated waste bins.
Apart from the off-leash dog park, you’ll also find a boat launch and a fishing dock at Lake Padden Park.
There are also multipurpose fields, an outdoor basketball court, and softball fields on-site.
You can also tee off at the park’s golf course or explore the habitat walk or have a picnic at the shelter on-site.
Barbecue facilities are also available. The park also has parking and clean restrooms.
Visit the park’s website for park rental rates and updates about local events.
