Howarth Park is a beautiful haven in California. It’s known as the ‘jewel’ of Santa Rosa and has become a popular destination if you want to escape the city life’s hustle and bustle.
This 138-acre community park is a good spot for fishing and boating.
A lot of locals also visit the park to play tennis, enjoy a picnic, or go jogging and hiking.
You’ll also find unique playground structures on-site where your children can make new friends.
Howarth Park is also home to an amusement area with a miniature train ride, a carousel, and an animal farm where your kids can enjoy pony rides.
Dogs are welcome at the park but must be on a leash. You also need to make sure you clean up after your pet. Bring poop bags and dispose of used ones in the trash cans around the park.
You also need to bring your dog’s bowl and plenty of water.
The trails, playgrounds, and fishing areas are open every day from sunrise to sunset.
Visit the park’s website for important announcements and more information about local events you can join.
