Gore Betz Park is a 2-acre park along 9th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale. Dogs are welcome on-site, but they have to be on a leash.

You also need to make sure you clean up after your pet. There are waste bins around the park where you can dispose of used bags. Bring plenty of water as well.

There are also several open areas on-site where you can relax or play with your dog.

Picnic tables, a pavilion, and park benches are also available on-site.

The park is open from 6 A.M. to 9 A.M. Check out the park’s website for more information about local events.

• Pick up after your dogs, repair holes, and control barking.
