If you’re looking for a park where you can enjoy some peace and quiet, stop by Glencarlyn Park. It’s a 100-acre park tucked away from the city’s hustle and bustle.
This Arlington park is home to beautiful tall trees and nature trails. It also offers connections to Four Mile Run and W&OD trails. Don’t miss a chance to check out the Long Branch Nature Center on-site as well.
There are two playgrounds on-site where you can let your children make new friends.
There’s a special place for Fido at Glencarlyn Park, too. The off-leash dog park on-site is open from sunrise to sunset. It’s only partially fenced-in, so make sure you watch your dog closely.
Bring poop bags, your dog’s bowl, and plenty of water when you visit, in case the park runs out. Canines can also swim in the pond on-site.
There are also picnic shelters, tables, and a charcoal grill on-site where you can enjoy a barbecue with your family and friends.
Parking and clean, accessible restrooms are available on-site. Visit the park’s website for important announcements and more information about local events.
