George Pierce Park is a 304-acre park in Suwanee, Georgia. It’s considered one of the city’s largest parks set on the northern edge of the city.
The park has a community recreation center and a double gymnasium. You’ll also find several ball courts on-site, which you can use for basketball, soccer, football, baseball, and shuffleboard.
If you’re in the mood for a walk, you can stop by the park’s indoor walking track. There’s also a 2.6-mile paved trail and a 1.2-mile non-paved trail on-site.
Kids are also welcome at the park. There’s a well-appointed playground on-site where children can make new friends.
You can bring your dog to George Pierce Park, but you must ensure he’s wearing a leash. Canines are welcome to explore the park trail that winds through the woods leading to a pond.
Don’t forget to pack poop bags and dispose of used ones in the trash cans around the park. Bring plenty of water and your dog’s bowl as well to prevent dehydration.
Pavilions, grills, and clean restrooms are also available on-site. Visit the park’s website for more information about local events.
