If you and your dog need a quick break from the hustle of your daily life, you can head out to Gene Allen Park.
There’s plenty of space at the park that you can explore. There are also plenty of trees in the area if you need some shade.
You will find Gene Allen Park adjacent to the Arlington Museum of Art, northwest of the city hall.
This half-acre off-leash dog park is the city’s first urban pocket park, and proposals for new improvements are currently underway.
They’re currently planning to install a fountain, more benches, and picnic facilities.
You can expect that soon you will be able to enjoy relaxing picnics with your friends while your dog runs around and play. You can read more about the park here.
