Duke Street Dog Park is one of Alexandria, Virginia’s fenced off-leash dog parks. You’ll find it east of the Charles E. Beatley, Jr. Library.
It offers plenty of space where Fido can play and make new canine friends. Just make sure you bring poop bags so that you can clean up after your pet. There are waste bins around the park where you can dispose of used bags.
Pack your dog’s bowl and plenty of water as well. Duke Street Dog Park is open from sunrise to sunset.
The city also holds local events like dog swimming and dog-friendly outings every once in a while. Visit the park’s website for more details about local activities you can join.
