Dr. James W. Thornton Dog Park is a picturesque, 1.5-acre, membership-based park located at 3934 N. Hayston in Fresno, California. The park has 1 1/2 acres of grassy space with separate dog runs for dogs weighing less than 25 pounds and dogs weighing more than 26 pounds. Only dogs can enjoy its 2,000-gallon canine wading pool with water jets.
