Civitan Park was once a former landfill. Now, it’s a beautiful 33-acre community park frequented by tourists and Johnson City locals.
It recently went through renovations to be used as a soccer facility. So now, you’ll find five lighted soccer fields at the park.
There’s also a concession area with a restroom, a volleyball court, and a playground.
Fur parents who frequently visit the park love its walking trail connecting Civitan to Lions and Rotary parks.
Just remember to clean up after your dog so other visitors can also have fun at the park.
You can also reserve the pavilions at Civitan Park. Check out their official website for the rates and available schedules.
