Charlie Vettiner Park is a vast Louisville park that features more than 200 acres. It has excellent sports facilities like a tennis court, baseball field, a basketball court, a disc golf course, a pickleball field, and a multi-purpose field.
The park also has a membership-only 2-acre off-leash dog park with separate spaces for big and small dogs. Its fences are well-maintained, and it has a mix of open and wooded areas.
Keeping your dog hydrated while playing wouldn’t be a problem as there’s a steady supply of water on-site.
Apart from that, there are also dedicated waste bins where you can throw away used poop bags.
After having fun at the dog park, you can unwind at the picnic shelter equipped with picnic tables.
Charlie Vettiner Park is open from 6 A.M. to 11 P.M. Check out the park’s website for important announcements.
