There are plenty of things to do at the Big Sky Luke Damon Sports Complex, but locals and tourists, especially fur parents, keep coming back for the off-leash dog area.
The large fenced play area has well-maintained grass and beautiful walking trails. Apart from that, the off-leash area at Big Sky also has a water spigot and a double-gated entry.
After you’ve enjoyed a few games of fetch with your dog, you can relax at the picnic tables. There’s also a portable toilet and a playground on-site.
Make sure you clean up after your pet when you visit the park. Most Bend parks provide poop bags and have designated waste receptacles. You can bring your bags, too.
Don’t forget your dog’s bowl, and make sure he’s vaccinated. The park is open from 5 A.M. to 10 P.M. You can visit the park’s website for important announcements.
