You’ll find Amelia Earhart Park along 65 Street in Hialeah, Miami, Florida.
It’s home to a 5-acre off-leash dog park with separate areas for big and small dogs. You don’t need to pay any fee to enter the park, but you must clean up after your pet.
Make sure you bring poop bags and dispose of used bags only in waste bins around the park.
You also need to pack your dog’s bowl and plenty of water to prevent doggy dehydration.
Apart from the off-leash dog park, other on-site amenities include biking trails, a soccer field, a volleyball court, and a fishing pier.
You can also try out wakeboarding on-site or enjoy a quiet picnic with family and friends at the park’s picnic shelter and pavilion.
The park is open from sunrise to sunset. You can visit the park’s website for more information about local events and important announcements.
