It’s always double the fun when you can bring your fur baby with you wherever you go. It’s a good thing more, and more businesses are welcoming our furry friends into their establishments.

Go grab a drink with your friends without leaving Fido behind because these dog-friendly bars let you bring your fur baby along.

1) Lucky Dog Bark and Brew

2220 Thrift Rd, Charlotte, NC 28208

The Lucky Dog Bark and Brew isn’t only a spacious off-leash dog park where you can let Fido run, play, and make new canine friends. It’s also a canine-friendly bar where you can enjoy an ice-cold drink.

They serve over 20 rotating craft beer taps from local breweries as well as dog-themed cocktails and wines. They also serve a special drink every week.

You can order snacks from the food trucks just outside the park. There are also several local restaurants nearby that deliver delicious treats.

Apart from that, the dog park also offers dog boarding, baths, and daycare.

2) Romero’s K9 Club

985 S Public Rd, Lafayette, CO 80026

Romero’s K9 Club serves an assortment of refreshing drinks, from beers to ciders and mead. They also have wines and other refreshing non-alcoholic beverages.

There’s also an off-leash dog park on-site where you can let your dog run free and play with other canines. You need to register your dog before you can come to visit. Fido also needs to be spayed/neutered and vaccinated.

3) Yard Bar

6700 Burnet Rd, Austin, TX 78757

The Yard Bar along Burnet Road in Austin provides a cozy place where you and your dog can enjoy a refreshing drink under a shady tree while you’re surrounded by new-found human and canine friends.

You can let your dog play in the off-leash area for a small membership fee. At the same time, you can enjoy beers, cocktails, wines, and even non-alcoholic drinks. Snacks and craft cans are also available on-site.

4) The Dog Bar

2300 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL 33712

You’ll find The Dog Bar in the Grand Central District of St. Pete. It’s a combination of an off-leash dog park and a full-service sports bar.

The dog park is divided into four separate sections. There’s one with over 2,000 square feet of space and an Astro-turfed yard. It has plenty of seating, a television, and a bone-shaped pool.

The yard is also supervised by ‘Wooferees’, especially during peak hours. However, you still need to keep a close watch on your dog.

There’s also a quiet corner where you can bring your dogs in case the larger yard becomes too overwhelming for them. It has low seating and two televisions.

Party packages are also available at the park in case you want to celebrate your dog’s special day. Meanwhile, you can enjoy refreshing drinks at the bar on-site.

5) Dog House Drinkery Dog Park

3800 Co Rd 175, Leander, TX 78641

The main park area at the Dog House Drinkery Dog Park features 1/2-acre fenced off-leash area with shade, lights, and access to the bar.

There’s another separate area with 10,000 square feet of space. It’s often used for dog training, ‘yappy hours,’ and birthday pawties. You’ll also find a separate area for small dogs.

The area is dotted with trees, so it’s cool and shady during summer. If you’re looking to enjoy a breath of fresh air, good music, and delicious snacks, don’t miss a chance to stop by this dog park bar.

6) Mutts Canine Cantina

2889 Cityplace W Blvd, Dallas, TX

There are two off-leash areas at Mutts Canine Cantina: one for big dogs and another one for small dogs. There’s plenty of space where your fur baby can play and socialize.

On the other hand, the bar and grill serve classic hand-crafted food and refreshing drinks. The bar also serves as a venue for local events like movie nights and happy hours.

All in all

There are so many ways to include your dog in your adventures. Thankfully, dog-friendly bars make it possible for you to enjoy drinks with your friends while hanging out with your fur baby.

Even campsites and amusement parks have now started letting dogs join in on the fun—after all, dogs have become part of the family now, too.
