Visiting Sehome Hill Arboretum is an excellent way to get away from the bustle of the city.
This 180-acre park in Bellingham, Washington is tucked amidst trees and lush greens.
It’s set on a hill just a stone’s throw away from the campus of Western Washington University.
Plenty of trails loop around Sehome Hill Arboretum, so you won’t run out of areas to explore.
You can also check out the trails with your dog, but you have to keep him on a leash.
You also need to help keep the park clean by picking up poop promptly and packing out used bags or throwing them away in the park garbage bins.
Since you will be doing a lot of walking, don’t forget to bring your dog’s bowl and plenty of water.
