Riverside Dog Park is one of four off-leash dog parks you’ll find at Hammond, Indiana. You can read about their parks here.

You can still bring your dogs to other parks in the city, but they have to be on a leash. That’s why locals prefer to go to designated dog parks so their canines can run free.

There are small obstacle courses, tunnels, and slides at Riverside Dog Park. There are benches for fur parents, too.

• Always keep a sharp eye on your pooch.
• Pick up after your dogs, repair holes, and control barking.
