Lake Fayetteville offers more than 400 acres of land and over 190 acres of water. Those who have been to this Fayetteville park say it’s every fisherman’s dream.
It’s also home to the North Shore Park, Lake Fayetteville Softball Complex, the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks, and Veterans Memorial Park. There’s also a disc golf course, a boat dock and marina, and boat and bike rentals.
You’ll also find a 5.5-mile nature trail around the lake and a 4.3-mile hard surface multi-use trail on-site.
If you plan to bring your dog with you, make sure he’s wearing a leash.
You can help preserve the park’s cleanliness by picking up after your dog. Bring poop bags and dispose of used ones properly. There are waste bins around the park where you can dispose of used bags.
Pack your dog’s bowl and plenty of water as well.
The park is open from sunrise to sunset. Visit the park’s website for important announcements and more information about local events.
