There’s so much you can enjoy at the Sitka National Historical Park. For example, you can learn about the Southeast Alaska Native culture and the Russian-American history through the exhibits on-site.
You’ll also find a visitor’s center on-site where you can stand on the seaside porch and enjoy the breathtaking view.
Dogs are welcome on-site, but they must be on a leash. Make sure you clean up after your pet. There are waste bins around the park where you can dispose of used bags.
Keep a close watch on your fur babies as well. There are brown bears in the area that are active during some parts of the year.
Visit the park’s website for important announcements and more information about local events.
