You’ll find the Armed Forces Honor Garden on the east side of Iditapark. It’s one of the best places to visit in Wasilla if you want to enjoy long, quiet walks.
If you plan to bring your dog with you, make sure he’s wearing a leash.
You also have to make sure you bring essentials like poop bags, so you can clean up after your dog. There are waste bins around the park where you can dispose of used bags.
