Veterans Park is a 4.2-acre neighborhood park located along Coronado Parkway.
Locals know it as a popular location for bocce leagues—friendly competitions are often held on-site.
You can also bring your children to the park. They can have fun at the playground or enjoy a walk along the paths around the park.
There are also basketball courts on-site where you can shoot some hoops with friends. You’ll also find a picnic shelter with barbecue grills on-site. You can also hang out at the park’s picnic area.
If you want to visit the park with your dog, make sure you keep him on a leash. You also need to clean up after your pet. Pack poop bags and dispose of used ones in the waste bins around the park.
