There are so many things you can do at Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park. You can start your day by biking at the park’s beautiful 13-mile off-road bike trail. It has tight turns and short hills that will challenge you to push yourself.
Meanwhile, the park’s 4-mile hiking trail lets you enjoy meandering through the maritime forest while you’re surrounded by majestic live oaks.
If you want something new, you can check out the themed natural playscape on-site, which has a large treehouse. You’ll love being surrounded by wildlife animals like squirrels and owls. It also features a large spider net, a fish climber, tree logs, swings, and a zipline.
Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park also has a campground where you can pitch a tent with family and friends. The park’s campground store has everything you need to have a fun night out.
The park is also home to the Dolphin Plaza, which is a 2,000-square-foot facility with oceanfront views. This spot is best for wedding receptions, outings, and reunions.
Fido is also welcome on-site, but he has to be on a leash. Bring poop bags and dispose of used ones in the trash cans around the park.
Don’t forget to bring your dog’s bowl and plenty of water to prevent dehydration. Ensure your dog is vaccinated and trained before you bring him to the park.
You can visit the park’s website for more information about local events, important announcements, and park amenity rental rates.
