Imagine up to five acres of space where dogs are free to run and play off-leash—that’s what Monument Dog Park has to offer.
This Gering, Nebraska dog park also has an excellent walking path just around its fence line.
You’ll also find an agility training course on-site where Fido can run through tunnels, jump on tires, and walk on A-frames.
You’ll find Monument Dog Park next to the Monument Valley Pathway trail system, which puts visitors in a location where they can enjoy beautiful views of the Scotts Bluff National Monument.
Make sure you clean up after your pet while at the park. Waste stations complete with poop bags and trash cans are available on-site.
Seasonal running water is also available, so make sure you bring your dog’s bowl.
There are also separate areas for big and small dogs on-site and one large general play area.
Clean restrooms are also available. The park is open from dawn to dusk in summer and from dawn to 9 P.M. during winter.
Visit the park’s website for more information about local events.
