Vernon Oaks Park is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s on the corner of Vernon Springs Drive and Vernon Oaks Drive.
The park features walking and hiking trails surrounded by beautiful trees.
It’s also home to an original spring house built by early area settlers.
You can bring your dog to Vernon Oaks Park, but he must be on a leash.
Moreover, you also need to clean up after your dog. Bring poop bags and dispose of used ones in trash cans around the park.
Since you’re going to do a lot of hiking, make sure you bring your dog’s bowl and plenty of water.
The park is open from 7 A.M to sunset. Visit the park’s website for important announcements and more information about local events.
