The grass area at Vista Sandia Park is excellent for games of fetch.

This 5.3-acre Rio Rancho park also has basketball courts. You can bring your kids, and they can have fun at the playground on-site.

Vista Sandia Park is also pet-friendly. Poop bags are available on-site, so it’s easier for you to clean up after your pet. You can also bring your own supply in case the park runs out.

Don’t forget to bring plenty of water and your dog’s bowl, especially if you’re planning to do a lot of walking.
