Kendall-Perkins Park was named after Owensboro residents Joseph W. Kendall and Joseph P. Perkins, who were both tirelessly devoted to the neighborhood and kids in the area.
The park is home to the Dust Bowl basketball tournament and has excellent amenities for the family.
There’s an open-air picnic shelter on-site where you can relax.
You can also check out Spray Park on-site, which is open from 9 A.M. to 9 P.M.
There are also two lighted basketball courts and tennis courts at Kendall-Perkins Park.
If you’re visiting the park with your kids, you can bring them to the playground.
You can also bring your fur baby with you, but you have to keep him on a leash.
Always pick up poop promptly and throw away used bags in the designated waste bins.
The park’s website has all the information you need about important park schedules.
