Pelican Park can be your go-to destination if you’re looking for a Sparks park where you can enjoy quiet time with your friends and fur baby.
It’s a 4-acre park with good walking paths and plenty of shade. If you’re bringing your kids to the park, you can let them have fun at the playground.
You can also shoot some hoops with your friends at the park’s basketball court. If you’re feeling more adventurous, you can try the climbing rock on-site.
But if you’re in the mood for some peace and quiet, you can hang around at the park’s picnic shelters that come complete with tables and benches.
You can visit Pelican Park with your dog, but you have to keep him on a leash. There are poop stations and waste bins which makes cleaning up after your pet a breeze.
Remember to keep a close watch on your dog while in the park. Bring bottled water and your dog’s bowl as well.
