Sparks Marina Park is an excellent destination for family outings and afternoon walks with your dog.

The off-leash dog park on-site features plenty of space for your dog to play, socialize, and exercise. You’ll find it in the southeast part of the park.

Fur parents who have been there say you need to be prepared to clean your dog as it can get muddy sometimes.

Bring poop bags and promptly pick up after your pet. Throw away used bags in the designated waste bins.

Other amenities at this 77-acre park include volleyball courts and a seasonal concession stand.

You’ll also find a 2-mile walking path surrounded by trees and shaded areas.

Sparks Marina Park also has several picnic areas and a fishing pier. In addition, there are two playgrounds where your kids can play. There’s a beach on-site as well.
